Position Title: Equipment Operator – Metal Parts Finishing & Packaging

Job Summary:
The Equipment Operator is responsible for operating machinery and equipment to finish, clean, and package washers and other small metal components. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that the products meet quality standards and are ready for shipment to customers in a timely manner.

Requirements

Required Knowledge and Skills

  • Forklift, pallet jack and hoist operation and safety
  • Basic record keeping and organizational skills
  • Box machine operation
  • Basic math skills
  • Load parts into tumblers for finishing and drying.
  • Run parts through cascade/separator to clean them prior to packaging.
  • Package parts for shipment.
  • Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move inventory.
  • Check parts for visual defects.
  • Set-up and operate automatic scales.
  • Inspect equipment for proper operation.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area.
  • Comply with quality management system requirements.
